1. Purpose

The purpose of this procedure is to ensure that any incidents or accidents connected to the Shit Runners Club (SRC) activities are handled promptly, fairly, and consistently, with the safety and wellbeing of everyone involved as the priority.

Recording incidents helps SRC:

· Respond appropriately at the time

· Identify patterns or recurring risks

· Improve future safety and risk assessments

· Meet insurance and safeguarding requirements

2. Scope

This procedure applies to:

· All organised SRC runs and activities

· All participants, volunteers, and organisers

· Any incident occurring during, or in connection with, SRC activities

3. What should be reported?

The following should be reported:

Accidents

· Falls, trips, or collisions

· Injuries requiring first aid

· Injuries requiring medical attention

· Any injury that prevents someone continuing the activity
