The Shit Runners Club (SRC) is committed to providing a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment. We recognise that from time-to-time things may not go as expected, and people may wish to raise a concern or complaint.

This policy explains how complaints can be raised and how SRC will respond.

2. Scope

This policy applies to:

• All participants
• Volunteers, run leaders, and organisers
• All SRC activities, events, and online spaces

3. What is a complaint?

A complaint is any expression of dissatisfaction about:

• Behaviour of participants, volunteers, or organisers
• How SRC activities are run
• Decisions made by SRC organisers
• Anything that makes someone feel unsafe, excluded, or uncomfortable

Safeguarding concerns will be handled under SRC’s Safeguarding Policy.

4. How to raise a complaint

SRC encourages concerns to be raised as early as possible.

• Many issues can be resolved quickly through conversation
