The Shit Runners Club (SRC) exists to provide a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive space for people who find running hard or intimidating. This Code of Conduct sets out the behaviours and standards expected from everyone involved, to help keep SRC safe, respectful, and enjoyable.
This applies to:
· All participants
· Volunteers
· Run leaders and organisers
· All SRC activities, both in person and online
Everyone involved in SRC is expected to:
· Treat others with kindness, respect, and consideration
· Support a non-judgemental environment, regardless of pace, ability, background, or experience
· Help create a space where people feel safe to show up exactly as they are
All participants, volunteers, and run leaders should:
· Be respectful in language, tone, and actions
· Follow reasonable guidance from run leaders or organisers
· Look out for each other and raise concerns if something doesn’t feel right
· Take responsibility for their own wellbeing and personal limits
· Communicate openly and honestly if they feel unwell, unsafe, or uncomfortable
